Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D

Well thanks to Nuffnang again, I managed to watch another movie before the opening day~

Anyways, since I don't really know the story of Resident Evil,
I just sat through the movie knowing that some hot chick is gonna be killing zombies..
Woot woot!!

Synopsis - Alice is back and revenge is what she seeks. After taking down Umbrella Corp. in Japan, she moves on looking for the sanctuary which Claire and the rest has gone to. Expecting to find a thriving community free from the T-Virus, Alice's hopes came crashing down to what she discovers.

My Review - First off, the 3D parts of the movie, even though some parts are not necessary, they are cool. Really is the next generation of 3D technology. Only thing bad about it is the 3D gave me this huge headache afterwards. Its quite strain full on the eyes and  the brain. Worst of all is, THE WHOLE MOVIE is in 3D. So imagine how big of a headache that is. Action scenes are good but well doesn't really have storyline le.

I Rate Thee - 7.5/10

Okay so if you still haven't seen the trailer yet, here it is!

Vampire Suck Review

Thank you Nuffnang for giving me the passes. ^^

Yes well finally they did a spoof on vampires since they are so over-rated right now.
Like that day I walked into Borders and almost all the Young Adult books are on vampires.
Over capitalized don't you think?

Synopsis - Becca moves in with her dad only to find out that there is something weird going on around town. Even though it is very obvious, it takes her half the movie to find out. She falls for Edward Sullen and is given the task to stop Edward from being killed.

My Review - The movie actually sucks. Watch the trailer and you would pretty much would see all the funny parts already. There isn't really a plot to it and well it is quite simply to say, plain dumb. Its if some drunk anti Twilight fans got together to write it.

I rate thee - 3/10

Here is the trailer. Well most of the show at least.

The Expendables screening and review

Obviously this would be one of the biggest movie we have been waiting for and trust me it did not disappoint.  Thanks to Nuffnang, I got to watch it a little earlier than everybody else. Action rate - 10/10
Damn this show is loud! Rocks tho~

After so many floppy movies, I'm pretty sure we all needed something big, something that we were all familiar with.
The old school way of rock hard abs, camera angles and just movie magic.
The Expendables brings back good memories of characters we thought were gone like Rambo, John McClane, Terminator and the rest of the big guns.
This show brings them all back.

If you still haven't heard of the movie yet, here is the trailer.

Synopsis - Barney Ross and his crew takes up a job which was stated as "into hell and out again". They pack up and marched into hell with their big guns and bombs. Action rate - 10/10

My Review - Okay clearly the show doesn't really have a plot to it, thus my very short synopsis. I couldn't think of anything besides raw action scenes, big guns and explosions. A lot of explosions. From what I saw was Rambo fell in love with a girl who was in trouble. So his crew of other big names comes along to play. Yep, that is about it but screw that. I loved the show! It really was old school with all the camera angles, explosions and rock hard abs with brute strength. It definitely is a guy's feel good movie. What did you expect from a Stallone directed movie? Action rate - 10/10. Yes I wrote that down 3 times.

I rate thee - 8/10. The action scenes makes up for the storyline.

Fighting Umbrella Corporation.

Well the long awaited Resident Evil sequel is finally out again! and this time it's in 3D!!
So you can expect flying bullets and sticks coming at your direction. So cunted right?!
Some more both the main actresses damn hots!!!

I'm sure many guys love the fact of two hot chicks with guns.

poster

Okay so if I was to bring down Umbrella Corporation, I would not mind being either Alice or Claire cause both of them can kick butt hard!! Plus both of them are so boom boom pow in the last movie. All those action scenes, "mind blasting".

The first order of business would be to stop Umbrella Corp. from making more clones and since all their security and scientist always seem so evil, I shall feed them to the big hordes of zombies waiting outside. Kidnap them when they are asleep, bind them and silence them, then sneak them into vents out to the waiting zombies. A fully fed zombie is a happy zombie. After all the small fries have been taken care of, I would focus my attention to that main guy. That dude in the shades walking around in the show. I would not just shoot him or stab him but would give him a slow and painful death. A death by a spoon. I would stalk him and hit him with a spoon continuously, just as the video below. Good inspiration, that video. Since survivors can be counted with 5 fingers, he would go totally insane before dying. I mean no one can survive being alone in a land filled with zombies and a constant rain of blows from a spoon. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. Whoop-de-doo

Enjoy folks!

Well yesterday at the Sony My Water Moments by Sony, I won a Sony TX5!!
Wheee!~
Nuffnang and Advertlets was also there to experience the water moments!

Ok so the event was at Sunway Lagoon.
It was to promote their TX5 which is Waterproof, Shock proof, Dust Proof and also Temperature proof.
So there were pretty girls walking around with the camera snapping pics and they would free print it out for you.
So nice of Sony. ^^

My group mates playing one of the games.

Yep so there were games where you were suppose to prove the camera's functions. Groups of 5 was formed up and the fastest group would win 5 cameras. Second prize was the Sony Bloggie and third was the Sony Waterproof Wireless mp3 player.

That is actually me and my sis. LOL

There was also a performance by Juztin something. Winner of the Astro Talent Quest 2009.
Sorry bro I tak kenal you.
Eventhough he had like 4 fans wearing shirts with his name on it. Why didn't Sony invite Wonder Girls?
They are under Sony and they were  recently here for MTV World Stage maaa. whyyyy

 My group with our prize!

Very fun event!
I met new bloggers and my team mates rock!
I would say well done to Sony for the well organized event.
Always nice to meet new friendly people.

If you know this leng lui please contact me!

My Sony TX5 review would be out in a week or so. After I have fumbled around with it.
For now I would say, the pictures are actually pretty sharp and Sony has been known in my family as "Freaking Steady Shot". Which is pretty true.

Sony TX5. My new friend.

Pictures taken from NikelKhor.blogspot.com
Just so happen he snapped a picture of my butt. XD

Why Vampires Suck?

I shall clarify some things first. I do not hate all vampires. I love Dracula.
I just hate the new bling bling ones.

Seriously, how did the cool blood sucker, feared by many Vampire status drop to musky voice, pretty face and crazily in love teenage boy? Oh yes, I missed out the sickness he was having. Not asthma but the way he breathes as if he was having an orgasm.

Who you may ask?
Like seriously?
You don't know?

The vampires of Twilight of course. I do not hate the author or the story, I just hate the way the vampires are portrayed.
Vegetarian vampires and pretty faces. sure thing. Just another sugar coated image of something fearsome.Oh, I forgot how they are shiny and glittery as well.

So finally a parody movie is coming out about vampires. Well kinda expected it, since there was the Superhero Movie and Date Movie and all the other spoofs.

Enough with the pretty faces and half naked men running around. I want the real thing back! I want blood and fear.

It shall be a breath of fresh air with some good laughs. ^^

SALT Movie Review

Went to the movie screening in Malaysia thanks to Nuffnang again!

This movie is explosive!
At least on the action scale. Good action scenes.
Reminds me of Bourne Identity but in a female version.
The plot of the movie is pretty good as well. Something you won't expect.

Synopsis - Evelyn Salt is accused of being a Russian spy. Fleeing for her life she tries to uncover the real truth while still trying to prove her innocence. Is she a spy or not? *jeng jeng jeng*

My Opinion - Pretty good movie with a good twist to it. Since I'm pretty sure we're all bored with the usual storyline, this kicks up something new into the scene. Eventhough it feels like the same thing. I loved the action scenes, makes you sit at the edge of your chair wondering how she did it. Personally I don't like the ending. Ended too quickly, like the director is leaving it hanging for SALT 2. Maybe it would be called PEPPER. Maybe.

I rate thee - 8/10

Sadly I haven't gotten the pics for this movie yet. Maybe they don't have it, but I shall upload it here if it does.

Here is the trailer, since some of you haven't heard of the movie yet.

Signing off,
YJ

LG Cookie Monster Party!

Well yesterday was the LG.C.M.P!!
Thanks to Nuffnang again!
Click pics to enlarge!

It was held at Neutral Club but fret not, it was hosted from 6pm to 10pm.
So nothing crazy went on.
Free food, drinks and prizes.
Loads of pretty girls!

It was something like the launching party for the new LG Cookie 3G, Plus and Fresh.
It's a line of fully loaded, touch screen budget phones.
Go google it out if you're interested. Sadly the os ain't android.

So about 100 bloggers who wrote in to Nuffnang were invited.
It was actually pretty fun!
We were suppose to dress in monster costumes or a shirt with a monster on it.
I made new friends and won prizes! Pretty rad.
Sadly not the phones tho..
I guess everyone enjoyed themselves.

The emcee of the night was Kenny Sia himself.
Fun guy. Pretty good with the mic and the crowd.
Had games and lucky draws.
Then dinner and after that more games.
Not the average launching party I would have expected.

Me making a fool of myself..again..XD

All in all, I had fun.
Eventhough I first thought I would have been a loner...
I guess it is easier to mix with friendly people!
Very nice to meet everyone that was there!!

Kopitiam Pak Li, Setapak

So during the Nuffnang Sharing Session, we went to Kopitiam Pak Li,
since food as always so food blogging~

I do find that all the sudden craze of more expensive kopitiams is just trying to catch the wave which started since Old Town and Paparich.

Food - The food portions are big but the taste is just average. *wavey hands*
Price - The portion for the price payed is counted as cheap.
Service - Average. Needs to be more attentive and smiled more.

Personally I think it's cheaper than Old Town, lol...
Not so sure bout all the other Kopitiams cause even though its good to yum cha at the new ones
all the best food are still from the old kopitiams

Nuffnang Sharing Session- Pak Li Kopitiam

I decided to go to the sharing cause I figured it would be good exposure to meet other more experienced bloggers and I did!

 Me and the sifu.
Everyone called him that.

I felt really awkward tho cause I didn't know anyone there at all..
So, early sorry to all the bloggers there which I didn't speak to, wasn't intentional.

Kak Ina, Mr.Iman, Hana & Kenny

The sharing session was for the invited blogger Mr.Iman to share his experiences since he has shot up to fame in the blogging world in less than a year.

Atreyuji, Hana & me
Can't rmb the guy. sorry!!!!
Everyone was friendly. Eventually I made friends. ^^

Before everything started, they provided us with sandwitches and drinks! Foc~
Pics in next post.

During the session, the manager of that particular outlet briefed us on it's history and their workings.
I am here to tell all of you, have no fear, the place is Halal.(no pork)
If you still don't believe me, you can actually ask for the cook. XD

After the meal, Mr.Iman gave us his speech and passed down some pretty important tips such as attending events, blog walking and more.
After him was Robb from Nuffnang, who gave us a FAQ crash course with the workings of Nuffnang.

Almost everyone there.

Being really bad with names and all,
apologies,
I can't really name and tag people. So I shall list down all the bloggers that were there.
On many of their blogs, there are more detailed accounts for the Sharing Session~

Bloggers - check them out!
Next post on Pak Li Kopitiam!

All for now,
enjoy~

Twilight Eclipse Screening

Well, I'm sure you should know by now that I went to watch the screening of Eclipse for Malaysia.

Since I'm not a Twilight fan
and a little more to the dislike side plus I fell asleep during Twilight
I was a little lost with the characters and with the storyline.

So I shall go straight to the point.

Synopsis - Twilight, bla bla bla. New Moon, bla bla bla. Finally the long awaited Eclipse continues with Bella forced to choose between the cold blooded but nicely dressed one or the warm blooded half naked one. She loves both of them, so greedy. While she is torn between the two loves, Victoria from the previous shows, builds her little army for revenge! *evil laughter*. With all that is happening, the Vultori? The black cloaked people watches on plotting their own little plans for world domination! Ok, I'm not sure. Didn't read the book.

My Review - I managed to stay awake through the whole thing! That has got to mean something. Well, I guess there was more action this time and maybe some storyline to it but I still found it to be like some kiddy movie. Toy Story 3 still felt better. PWNED!

I rate thee -  5/10
