Post-Review Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege NyX launch 2012.

So after tasting the product what do I think about it?

Hennessy NyX is actually a very good tasting V.S.O.P. It is smooth and rich with flavor. Mom personally loves it with Soda as she says it tastes better than all the fruity flavors.





I personally just love the apple and berry but still, I would still say this product would be best enjoyed just straight on the rocks. Based on flavors alone, it is definitely tasty.

The launch wasn't very big so it felt exclusive enough. Just so you guys know, Vertigo Club is serving the NyX already, so dropby for a taste if you can afford it.

Chelsea FC Training

Well as many of you would already know, Chelsea was recently in town. Eventho the match did not turn out as exciting as the rest did but still the fans still love them.

Hopefully with the new season, they will win the cup.

So I managed to sneak in to this little super heavily guarded event. lol.


Besides the hordes of blues fans going crazy to watch their favorite team member run around which was avoided, the media also got a chance to meet the players! Well sorta. They were training after all.
So as usual letting the pictures do the talking.

Chelsea Asia Tour - Coach Media Training.

First of, thank you Samsung for giving me the pass for the once in a lifetime experience.
I got my chance to learn football from the Chelsea coaches when they were in KL recently.
Thank you Jessica Kan for holding on to the camera while we were trying so hard to not look bad.




I am a Chelsea fan but not a very big football fan so truth to be told, I suck with kicking a ball around a field. The coaches were very friendly and they were nice enough to be gentle on all the media people there. Still they did occasionally crack a joke here and there about how they would be going all out.

Hennessy Artistry 2011 @ Mist Club, Bangsar.

Hey all, over the weekends was Hennessy Artistry at Mist Club, Bangsar and I would say it was pretty fun!

The venue was no doubt pretty well decorated with HA banners and stuff but I would say the company did make it pretty fun. Not forgetting the drinks too.

The acts for the night was great as well. I only saw 2 as I did my usual thing of leaving earlier to avoid traffic.

Carlsberg Where's The Party? 2011

Hey everyone, before I start, I would like to thank Carlsberg and Brandthink for the invites to the BIGGEST party of the year!
How good was it? Everyone kept saying it was awesome. So it must be good. 




So last Saturday I was invite to Carlsberg Where's the Party. 
It was a 2D,1N all expense paid invitation with a list of what to bring and a promise of an awesome party. The catch was, no one knew where the party was. A secret location and they left us guessing till the door step of the hotel.

It began last Saturday morning at BKT Jalil, with everyone arriving and registering. Then with the buses ready, everyone loaded up and took off to the secret location. Which in the end turned out to be Gold Coast Sepang. We were greeted by this huge group of good looking people making us feel like celebs.

NESTLE Launches New Almond Thrill Drumstick & Contest

NESTLE has brought a new flavor into their Drumstick line which is the new Almond Thrill flavor.
How different can it be? Well it is a smooth and creamy pecan-flavoured  ice cream in a rich, dark cone, surrounded by a thin chocolate ring topped with a generous layer of crushed almond nuts.

During the launching, besides the usual press conference, NESTLE made things different by setting up game booths around the area allowing media a go at them. After lunch it was open to the public for a fun filled day.

In conjunction of the Almond Thrill launch, NESTLE also launched a contest for all the customers.
The NESTLE DRUMSTICK ALMOND THRILL? What's Yours? contest will offer ice cream lovers the chance to win prizes totaling RM57,000. Interested participants will have to convey how they would like to live their adventure with NESTLE DRUMSTICK.

Hennessy Artistry 2011 @ The Opera

Well the long await party has returned!
Hennessy Artistry rocked out this time at Penang and KL but I only managed to go for the KL one.


Obviously this was a smaller event but still music and drinks were still awesome.
Venue could have been bigger, brighter and definitely colder.



This time, I decided to go with my sister and my grandma.
Call me crazy but she is hip! Drank and listened to all the party music. Damn cool yo!

Hennessy Artistry is back for 2011

Yes People! Hennessy Artistry is finally back for 2011!
Missed it?
I did! All the sights, taste and sounds. Being the first for 2011, it may not be the biggest HA but it is definitely going to be the BEST ONE YET!



For this HA, they have definitely gave thought to what would make it special, so besides the awesome drinks they have managed to bring in  new sound!
This time there would be perfomances by Vandalism, Kyoto Protocol,  and Spinderella. Just get ready for some pretty Awseome music!

Also new, logo, interactive Hennessy Mixing zone, Hennessy Interactive Photowall (digitally insert shout phrases), Party bands (each party-goer would receive a wristband which allows them to log on to their FB account and update their FB status everytime they scan their wristbands at different booths. You can also instantly tag yourself in pictures using the wristband)

Not forgetting the awesome drinks! The 4 awesome flavors!

Samsung Launches Smart TV

Only hours ago, Samsung launched their newest line of TV screens which are called the SMART TV.


What is a smart TV?
For Samsung it is not just for watching movies. Samsung has come up with a TV that can be used for watching movies, view objects in your phone or laptop, be connected to other Samsung devices and it can be played with. Want to watch your show while checking Twitter or Facebook? Sure why not.  Whether you are a LED fan or a Plasma tv fan, fret not as Samsung has released both types of tv to suit your every need.

Ajmal Opens First Store in Malaysia

Ajmal has finally arrived in Malaysia!



You may have heard about it on the radio, actually even I can't remember hearing about it but apparently there were commercials about it. Ajmal has been here for at least a year and now they are trying to be heard.

So what does Ajmal plan to achieve by opening a store in Malaysia?
They are here to change the perception of Middle Eastern fragrance. The stereotype of heavy musky scents from the middle east is over, or shall I say, will be over with Ajmal's help. The fragrances I smelled that day was light and fruity or woody. Nevertheless the fragrances were light and not heavy.

I have recently attended their Celebrity Media Conference which included a preview to their new fragrance(Valentine Series) and their My Inspiration series. The Valentine one is just a set for Him and Her.
The highlight of the event was celebrity Jien ( Previously from Disney Channel and Cheer Host) was there to get a bottle of personalized perfume for his wife.

Ajmal's My Inspiration fragrance allows you to mix and match your own scent and after that, they would save down your recipe. The recipe is then kept only for YOUR use. So your recipe would be specially yours.

Plus if you run out of the fragrance, you can just give them a call and they would have it ready for you, exactly as you made it. Convenient no?

Laser Tag with Advertlets Bloggers.

Before the meet up, personally even I didn't know that there was a laser tag venue in Midvalley.
The only one I used to know of was in Mines and I'm not even sure whether that one is still open.

Anyways, last Saturday, Advertlets invited about 30+ bloggers to Galactic Laser in MV and let me just tell you, it was totally awesome!
What is laser tag? It is similar to paintball but instead of the pain and paint, you will shoot lasers instead. Everyone wears this high tech looking body piece fitted with sensors and LED lights to tell people and you when you have been 'shot'. You also hold this laser gun which turns into a sub machine gun after certain amounts of kills. Everything is wired up to this computer so after the game, you will be able to check your score.

During briefing

It is well suited for a wider variety of people as there is practically no pain involved and well if you are lazy to run around, you can just sit in a spot waiting for a victim to run past. I'm sure even the older crowds would have fun playing it. Plus, Galactic Laser have packages for groups which means maybe a play day for companies trying to treat their employees?

7aste New York 2010.

It was my first time at a 7aste event. Personally I found it a little more toned down compared to HA but still fun.
Didn't really stay long cause I found it a little slow and draggy plus I had another location to go to. So left around 10.40.

Drinks were great. Very generous with booze and company was good. Even though it only lasted for a short while. They had this wall for pictures and they gave out free Polaroids for the guest. Good touch to the event. Makes it a little livelier.
What else to say but free booze and pretty chicks.

 Harith Iskandar entertained the crowd with his humor and a local celebrity charmed the crowd with songs but it was so packed that I couldn't get pictures sorry. 7aste needs a bigger venue.
