7 Top Tips Before Buying A New Camera.

Some of my friends have been asking me questions on which camera they should buy.
So I have compiled some tips that I think would be useful to all my readers out there.
It may help you or your friends. Just hope it helps.

  • Know what you want. Be it whether a digital camera or a DSLR. Also check out models which have certain functions which you might prefer. Eg. Canon has that Fisheye effect but Sony has the Panarama view. Up to personal reference really.
  • Know your budget. Know how much you are willing to spend on it. Don't just sign your credit card just cause the salesman says its a good camera. Check the market.
  • The newest camera ain't always the best camera. It's true! Plus it will save you a ton of money since it is not the newest model. Check out models from the company you are interested in. Usually they would just add in a few features and call it a new model.
  • Go test out the model you are interested in. Pictures of it might look great but it might be too big for your liking or its just too heavy. Just test it out for a wider understanding.
  • It doesn't take forever. Not long even to do the steps above. Just have your scopes on maybe 3 models you are interested in. Go to the shop, test all 3 models out and pick the one that suits your budget, size, weight and functions most.
  • Check the packages that comes with the camera from the shop. A free memory card does come in handy. A free tripod does too. Just be sure you aren't missing out on any promotions.
  • NEVER check the price of the camera after buying it. It would just hurt you to know that the price has dropped.
Hope it clears some questions and stuff.
I can't really help with all the models and stuff since I don't check them out much.

Enjoy!
