Okay so my favorite owl out of the many many owls out there would have to be the Australian Masked Owl.
From its physical appearance alone is freakishly attractive yet mysterious.
It is exactly like a character from a fictional movie. Some dude behind a mask.
Either wise and powerful or crazy and murderous.
The Australian Masked Owl is well known as the Mouse-Owl as mice are part of their diet.
So technically I'm pretty sure they have them in Malaysia too! At plantations perhaps.
Would be a little scary to see a face like that at night tho..
Just a pretty random fact but did you know that owls can turn their heads 270 Degrees in both directions?
It would be pretty cool if Zorro wore a mask like this.
Sad thing is that due to deforestation, their numbers are dwindling. So dear aussies, please stop cutting down trees.
The majestic night hunter. Man's friend, mice eater.
