7aste New York 2010.
It was my first time at a 7aste event. Personally I found it a little more toned down compared to HA but still fun.
Didn't really stay long cause I found it a little slow and draggy plus I had another location to go to. So left around 10.40.
Drinks were great. Very generous with booze and company was good. Even though it only lasted for a short while. They had this wall for pictures and they gave out free Polaroids for the guest. Good touch to the event. Makes it a little livelier.
What else to say but free booze and pretty chicks.
Harith Iskandar entertained the crowd with his humor and a local celebrity charmed the crowd with songs but it was so packed that I couldn't get pictures sorry. 7aste needs a bigger venue.
Borrowed Feeq's fisheye lens. Best camwhore lens ever!!~

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010
Hey all I know this is a lil late but Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Please drive safe to your destination and have fun with all your family and friends.
Currently in Bangkok so updating is a little more challenging but I really like it here.
More when I get home. Apparently my baby laptop has returned! Hooray!
Don't really know what to say plus I am doing loads of typos cause the keyboard is filled with thai words....

How to upgrade Android 2.1 to 2.2 FROYO on Samsung GalaxyS
I have just upgraded my Samsung GLS from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2.
Before upgrading it I was searching around for how to update the firmware and well there were a few ways.
One of it was using another program to place it in like how you would normally jailbreak an iPhone. "Press this and this till this screen appears"
But I went with the way which is a lil bit more normal.
Update the firmware through Samsung Kies. Some of the instructions out there state that you would need the newer version and to download it.
You can actually just update it from within Kies.
Open Kies > Click Kies(top left corner) > Update. Then wait for the program to update itself.
After that just plug your phone into the computer with the USB cable and select Kies on your phone.
When it connects, a pop up in Kies will appear prompting that you can update your firmware.
Click it and follow instructions.
Tadaaa
If you need more specific instructions, here is the website I referred to for my phone.

Following it.
I am sure many people would have been through it in life.
Many of us would give the best advices to friends and family. Save countless relationships and maybe end countless arguments.
But we never seem to be able to follow our own advice well enough to fix our problems.
Well its a personal opinion at least. I can never really follow what I tell others.
It maybe a bad example but think about it.
*Updates for Miss Tourism 2010 and 7aste New York is on its way. Just need to edit the pics.

HELP ADP Annual Ball 2010, Park Royal.
Recently, okay maybe not so recently, HELP ADP had their annual Ball.
Since I was in it and Proms and Balls are such rare occasions, I went for it. Plus I was one of the organizers...
Heck I pray the next thing I help to organize would have less drama behind the scenes.
Anywho, it was a small event. About 100 people but its was a pretty fun event. The company was great. Had some good music. Food was okay. Everyone looked fantastic.
Don't really know what else to say cause the pictures have been up for quite a bit now.
Had a good time. Sorta.
Pictures don't have watermark. *cries*. Laptop has been sent to repair. AGAIN.
Kinda the problem when I didn't buy the mainstream brands. Still BenQ after sales service is pretty good.
Still wish they had a 3 year warranty instead of 1.
All for this update.

Photography tip for Prom/Ball Pictures.
Okay so since the season for Prom and Balls are now, here is a tip for all those camera wielding people. To reduce blur pictures for that special night
Please please please use the flash on your camera. Even though the color sometimes doesn't fit and red eye and overexposure might occur, you can fix those on the computer. Most likely the environment is in a dark or a not very well lit room.
Most digital cameras these days have that high ISO feature but I have seen pictures still coming out blur. Even if you do so, try to flash when the picture looks blur. So take a test shot first maybe to judge the lighting and how long you and the subjects got to stand still for the camera to finish capturing the moment.
DSLR wielding photographers, if you have that external flash, bounce it. If you don't you can still try to bump the ISO up and widening the Aperature or slowing down the shutter. Around 1/20 would be the most I dare since the place is already dark. There is a trick for bouncing the pop-up flash where you place a card in front of the the flash to bounce it but I haven't tried it before.
The other tip would be to have a spare battery or a FULLY charged one and also an EMPTY memory card.
Have a steady hand.
and shoot like crazy!
Best to have captured different moments than not getting any at all.
If you have a bad picture? Just delete it!
Have fun to all you readers out there!
Hope this helps.

Grind My Gears - Punctuality
Personally I think that punctuality shows a lot about people.
Doesn't really matter what kind of personality a person has, they must at least be able to keep to the set time.
Sadly in the country where I am in, people seem to take their own sweet time and when they are late, they would say "Malaysian Timing"
wtf? Just cause you live in Malaysia doesn't mean you get to have your own timing of your liking.
Need an example?
Events such as wedding dinners. Sure the invitation card would write 7pm, Guest arrival, 8pm dinner begins.
But after going to a few, I would advice you to have an early dinner before arriving. People would only arrive at 8pm and the event starts at 9pm?
Or maybe a more common example, meetings with people. If you are gonna meet someone for work or play, at least be on time.
Even if, and really this is a BIG if, you met with some problems, give the person a call or reschedule the meeting. Don't make whoever it is to wait for 30minutes to an hour standing or sitting at 1 spot.
There is a saying, "When you are early, you are on time. When you are on time, you are late and when you are late, you lose your job".
When I have to wait for people for more than 30 minutes, it grinds my gears.

KLIMS Children Road Safety Edu and activities.
If you haven't visited the KL Motorshow yet, just be aware that it is till 12th December at PWTC,
but just be informed, I think the Bumblebee and the Batman car thingy is just over-rated.
Okay anyways, if you are not very sure on how to cross the roads properly or you have younger children with you when you are visiting the Motorshow, be aware that there is Road Safety booth to teach children the ways of crossing the roads and all that. (booth 1B10, located at Hall 1).
Fun and educational, I do hope so.
Please be careful of your kids as there are ALOT of people there. Don't want your kids to go missing.

Patience. Just for another week at least.
Okay so my finals are finally here. That is the reason for the lack of updates these days.
But fret not dear and love-able readers, I already have a list of things which I will be writing about.
Plus I shall be going to the KL International Motorshow tmr. So hopefully there would be some good car pictures and not forgetting those pretty model pictures.
So just give me another week before I start flooding this blog with life again.
Cheers!

A girl every guy wants.
Recently I read a tweet about how Taylor Swift sings about girls feelings,
Bruno Mars sings about what girls want to hear.
Well Taeyang sings about what guys want too!
Here is his, I Need a Girl eng sub
Great song really.
Of course, you are loved no matter who you are.
