Urbanscape 2010
Since I didn't attend Urbanscape 09 last year,
I made a little effort to go this year.
Urbanscape is an event that...that...
actually I got no bloody idea what Urbanscape is....
To me, after attending it, Urbanscape would be an event organized by KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Center) just to attract people to them with stalls of food, clothing and accessories and with local acts.
Of course this year there was the Angkat Rumah (House lifting), Electric Tea Party and also the live Art Gallery, which is where the artist paints while you critique.
I missed the House Lifting cause it was in the morning. So yea, that's that.
After meeting with Zejing, we bumped into my college friend, Angeline who brought us to admire the huge ass Koi fishes there. You can vaguely see the fish somewhere in the picture. It was also a smart move to walk around in an umbrella.
Then we walked around the food area and the market place. The food area was in the car park with the sun at FULL blast and the market was on WET grass. hmmm
*squish squash* all over. Oh joy.
The Electric Tea Party was pretty cool, since all you had to do was place a hand on the metal thingy, and your other finger in cups of water. Pretty cool since it's like a turn table with kitchen ware.
Well that's about it.
**Correction - Since I didn't buy a ticket (RM30 beforehand and RM40 at the door) to watch the local acts, I walked around and took in the scenery and left. I know I'm suppose to support local acts, but they just don't appeal to me.
Besides getting sun burn,
that was about all to it.

Beast Showcase epic fail
So Beast was in Malaysia and they had a showcase and
thank you Trisha for the ticket!!
Anyways it was really badly organized. I left before going in.
Let me explain.
I stood for around 4 hours and was still standing outside.
Loads of people wearing the B2ST shirt, which had first priority. They bought the CD. RM120. madness....
Event started around 9 when it was stated at 7.
Security was rude and crowd got rowdy.
People started fainting cause there were fans waiting for more than 8 hours standing without food.
Since I didn't get a media pass. I left the madness towards home, a warm meal, a sofa and football.
If you see properly, people are still waiting further up the stairs.
More on their blog.
For a more detailed description of the madness there, it's on Jerica's blog.
She was there since 11am. *crazy*

Bit this sharp bone causing my mouth to bleed
Played Eskimo in Malaysia.

2 winter jackets.
2 winter jackets.
I didn't even break a sweat.
Yep, that's about it.
Being sick.

Ice Room
Okay, so many of you have asked me where this place is
and since it's a potential yum cha place for many, I'll elaborate abit
Ice Room is a place where they sell shaved ice cream. They also sell normal food but obviously everyone would just go for the ice cream. The portion of it is pretty big as well.
Ice Room is located at Pandan Jaya, Cheras.
It's pretty near the Pandan Jaya LRT station.
It's also a corner lot, so it ain't hard to miss.
Food - It's nice, fresh and tasty. Something like those home made ice cream of olden times.
Price - It's about RM7.90 for a bowl. For the size of the bowl, its considered quite acceptable. Not something to always spend tho. Would hurt the wallet.
Service - A little below average. Maybe cause they actually forgot an order we placed or because the
lady that came over didn't give me the friendly vibe but still *wavey hand*
**The shop also had flies flying around. *tsk tsk*
***Service was slow. Now I know why I didn't like the place.
If you look at the pictures close enough, you can actually see that they are slices and not scoops.
That's all for now. Enjoy~

Banana Leaf Rice & Lemon Hibiscus
Last week, I followed my sisters to Bangsar and since it was lunch hour
we went for Banana Leaf Rice.
I guess those who have trouble with indian food shouldn't try this.
You eat it off a banana leaf with basic side dishes and a variety of main dishes.
After the lunch and some walking around, we stopped by Starbucks to try out their new drink.
Lemon Hibiscus - Kinda nice but also has a weird after taste that lingers.

Linggam Day!~
In my college, we have to take a bus to get to the other building,
and it was one of the bus driver's birthday,
so we decided to wear a bandana and wish him. Cause he wears a bandana everyday.
The event was posted on facebook and at first LOADS of people agreed to doing it,
but in the end barely a handful did it. *sad face*
That's all for now~

Santini KLCC
Happy Birthday Chester!
On Father's Day, my family decided to go to Santini at KLCC to celebrate~
So being me as usual,
another food post~
So I shall just rate the place first,
so you can enjoy the pics later
Food - Its nice, portion a little small tho
Price - If its the lunch set, its quite affordable but a la carte would kill
Service - I didn't like it, loads of people working but no one was really working, if you get what I mean
That's all for now.
Enjoy~
